SUMMARY:AACIT annual meeting - April 26\, 2017
DESCRIPTION:AACIT Members\,\n\nOur annual meeting\, including elections and talk\, is next Wednesday (4/26) at 7:30PM in the Feynman Lecture Hall (201) in East Bridge at Caltech. Guests of members are welcome.\n\nThe club bylaws require “capital transactions” (aircraft purchases) to be considered at member meetings. I am notifying members that we intend to consider the purchase of an aircraft at the meeting next Wednesday.\n\nWe will have elections for the Board at the meeting. If you would like to serve\, please let me know. We always are looking for volunteers. We have an unfilled position for a Caltech (ug or gs) student. You are also free to nominate yourself or another member at the meeting. If there are no contested positions\, the slate of board candidates is usually approved by voice vote. The slate as currently envisioned is listed below.\n\nIn order to have an official meeting and elections\, we need a quorum. In other words\, we need a majority of voting members of the club to either be there in person or have a valid proxy on file. Our proxies are only valid for 18 months\, so if you have not joined recently\, it is very likely you need to submit a new proxy unless you plan to attend. The proxy must be filled and signed to be valid.
